Under the title "Better Late than Never"

Sorry to blog followers for not posting this sooner. I have been trying to shake a bad cold and let this slip. As you child may have told you, I am now out of school with vocal exhaustion brought on by the cold. I hope to be back quickly.

This week's homework:

Math: revising multiplication and division algorithms, including with decimals

ELA: Poetry response, started in class and due Thursday
Parent's signatures on two book responses from term1

Social Science: corrections to the test, and test to be signed by a parent, due Thursday

Report cards will be coming home next week. While you have had many math assignments to sign lately, it will be important to remember that much of our work on fractions was not cycle three content. The marks on the report card, therefore, will not be a simple averaging of these, but will include these as well as classwork and diagnostic assessment used to determine their understanding.

Have a wonderful week,
Kathy Napier
